For projects and contracts that involve large volumes of waste Bucks Recycling Skiphire can provide Roll On/Off skips. We offer four different sizes of Roll On/Off skips, from 20 cubic yards (suitable for heavy materials) to a maximum of 40 cubic yards.

Plasterboard Disposal

Legislation governing disposal of plasterboard

Since 1 April 2009, European Legislation prohibits plasterboard from being land filled with general waste. This means that any plasterboard must be reused, disposed of at a specialist plasterboard recycling facility, or land filled separately. All plasterboard collected by Bucks Recycling is disposed of at specialist plasterboard recycling facilities throughout the UK and a full audit trail is available.

Plasterboard collection terms

Our rates are based on volume of waste removed. We would normally require notification in advance as to he quantity you wish to dispose of. Bucks Recycling Skip Hire can either arrange for your plasterboard to be handled in one of our dedicated Bulk Bags which can be purchased for £8.00 and hold up to one tonne of plasterboard, or if the volume is substantial, we can arrange for a plasterboard only skip for your site – Applicable charge rates are per tonne and can be negotiated by calling your our dedicated hotline. If plasterboard is found to be mixed in with ordinary waste in your skip and we have not been informed, we will charge a labour supplement to cover the additional cost of having to separate the plasterboard.
